Becoming a Cold Calling Expert

Let’s be real β€” you don’t learn cold calling at university.That’s why, after graduating, I jumped straight into the real thing: working as a BDR-as-a-Service consultant for international tech companies. No PowerPoint decks. Just hands-on execution β€” cold calling, outbound campaigns, and building pipeline in markets I had to crack from scratch.
I experienced the 98% rejection rate firsthand β€” and learned how to win anyway.
I was embedded into existing sales teams for several months at a time, fully focused on breaking into new accounts and delivering high-quality meetings with hard-to-reach buyers.

BDR -> Enterprise Account Executive

Today, for two years now, I’ve been an Enterprise Account Executive at a leading Israeli-American SaaS AI company.
While the company was already well known and respected in the U.S. market, they struggled to gain traction in EMEA. I joined as employee #2 in EMEA because I saw the opportunity to change that β€” to take a proven product and build its presence from the ground up in a new region.
I started as a BDR, got promoted within the first year, and played a key role in making the company known not just in DACH, but across all of EMEA. From outbound to closing, I am opening doors, build pipeline, and help shape our go-to-market approach in a region where we were starting from scratch.
